Hello everyone,

So i recently bought a two brothers exhaust for my 2012 hyosung gt250r. However, I wasn't able to install it onto my bike because the catalytic converter got in the way. If i was to cut it off how would my bike perform? I heard it would start to run lean, and eventually start messing up my bike. Would i need to install a power commander even if my bike is Fuel injected? Please let me know if anyone has ever installed a two brothers exhaust onto your hyosung gt250r by removing the catalytic converter and how it performs now. Thanks and sorry for the long post.

Wouldn't the section of pipe containing the cat be wider than normal so the flow through the cat is about the same as pipe without cat would be?
Assuming you would make a link pipe that doesn't include cat and calculate the size needed or find out what works you shouldn't have fuelling issues.

You should post pictures so we can take a more accurate approach to giving you poor advice.

I presume your new muffler is not specific to that bike? If it is does not not just slip on in replacement of the original?

It will be some sub hundy dollar Chinese copy called two-broz sold as one type fits every bike 250 to 1400 cc or a second hand muffler.
If it was new it would have the correct link pipe and install.

That's how a Hyosung owner rolls.

You can only install a Power Commander n a bike with fuel injection. It modifies the firing map coming out of the ECU.
