Tossing up between some TOR (Triumph Off-Road) pipes or some Cycleworks pipes for my Bonneville, has anyone got any idea how they compare sound-wise?

The original pipes are ok, but I'd like a little more rumble, but I don't want to go full wake-up-the-neighbourhood volume, as my neighbours are actually mostly nice people.

Got the TOR on the wife's SE. Have a very nice note under throttle, but fairly quiet while cruising, so don't become annoying. I would almost guarantee the cycleworks will be louder than TOR's, so it depends on what you're after.

Yeah, I expect the CW's to be a fair bit louder. I don't want "loud", just something with a bit more of a burble to it, so I think I've pretty much talked myself into the TOR's.

Worst case, I could always debaffle them later, bit I doubt I'd want to bother.

Just my two cents, having had numerous sets of CW pipes as have mates, I can say they are not bad at all. The last set I seen was fitted to a mates hyosung 650 Gt with a twin pipe set up. The looked great, sounded even better and the price was fair to say the least for a one off set.

The best part about CW they are Kiwi made, if you want anything done to em, CW will typically modify, repair etc to suit your needs. Give em a yell, you may be surprised what they can offer.
