Hiya Folks
In the aftermath of Hurricane Pam hitting Vanuatu there is no way a lot of he local native families can afford to buy " luxuries" like soccer boots for their kids. Vanuatu is soccer (football) crazy
So if anyone in New Zealand has any boots their kids have outgrown It would be a fantastic thing to get them over to Vanuatu for those kids.
It happens that early on Tuesday 29/9/2015 my familly are heading to Vanuatu.
We have in essence 69 kg of "extra" baggage we can take with us so we can transport a lot of boots with us.
So we are hoping to take as many pairs of good used KIDS soccer boots as possible with us.
I promise that every pair will go to the kids soccer team (or teams) based in Mele Village which was one part of Vanuatu hammered by Pam. .
This is a repost but we are trying to see if we can shake any more boots out of closets.
If you are able to help please send the boots to 25 Corban Avenue, Henderson in Auckland
Even if YOU can't help if you could please share this post with friends.

Mate of mine has a son who plays in the tourneys over there. Onya for sorting something out :niceone:. Might be worth getting in touch with the Auckland Football Federation (http://www.aucklandfootball.org.nz/index.php?id=54) or the clubs on the page.

Will pass it on to said mate.

Damn. I think my only remaining football gear is my ref's badge and whistle. (Yes, my eyesight started to fail so I became a referee).

Heya folks. I thought I would update for anyone that's interested. At really short notice we managed to gather up a bag/suitcase full of boots. They went to a school just outside Vila. There were enough pairs of boots to effectively outfit one full soccer team.
YOU folks made a fair few kids VERY happy.
Im heading back over to Vanuatu at easter 2016.
If anyone remembers between now and then I know for 100% certain that any kids soccer boots would be really truly appreciated.
Air Vanuatu has agreed to allow all 5 of us travelling the sporting goods allowance of 5kg each AND Air Van policy is to go with COMBINED weight rather than individual bags. This gives us another 60kg of weight or about 100 pairs of boots.
So again Please --if anyone has KIDS soccer boots their kids no longer fiit please send them to the address above.
