Hi all, I want a v8 ute because I'm a bogan - so my van is up for sale.

Affectionately known as Albus Dumblevan, it gets bikes to and from Hampton Downs like a champ. It's a LWB with 3metres of load space, primarily used to cart sportbikes around (see pic for example, 2013 GSXR750 and a 2015 ZX636r).

Here's what it will happily carry (none of which are included in the sale):
3 sets of leathers, boots, gloves, etc
two ramps
tools, paddock stands
2x Sportbikes
lawn chairs
chillybin
small table

My favourite parts about it are:
1) The rails on both sides to hang leathers
2) Fully glazed so it's super easy to drive
3) The rear door is so big it acts as a mini gazebo
4) Spotlight for night time packing
5) Cupholders, hell yeah
6) Has factory mounts for seats, so buy some eye bolts and you can have tie downs in all sorts of places. (eyebolts currently in the van can be included for an extra $80)

1992
Ford Econovan
2.0L Carb
5 speed manual
tow bar
bull bars
WOF (Feb 2016)
Reg (Dec 2015)

300,000km+
Cambelt and gaskets changed last year, I have no receipts but have the old bits in a box if you're interested
Probably the ugliest van you've ever seen - bodywork is hilariously bad
I never got around to hooking up the tachometer or the temp gauge.

Please note: the price isn't negotiable. It'll continue to be my track hack if it doesn't sell. Cheers.

Yeah, as mentioned in the post the body work is really crap and the tachometer and temp gauge aren't hooked up. Feel free to come see it, make sure you're happy with it before buying.

Other than that it's a champ. Used it yesterday for ART at Hampton Downs :)

Who knows, if you get a ute you may also discover that there are other circuits in NZ too!
Although I do appreciate that going 20km south of the Bombay hills must be quite scary for you Aucklanders as it is.

I went the other way, had 2 utes then got a van. No security of gear, putting a canopy on isn't an option as it's too low. Everything gets wet as well... However, a ute has no height limit on bikes... I got a pretty big van to get the right height space...

Cheers. A bit of a drive at the moment and a couple of weeks until I have a free weekend. If I am able to, and you still have it in around 3 weeks Ill come take a look. Cheers
