Anyone know where I can get one of these in Nz or am I better to get on in from overseas? Dropped 1 tooth front and added 2 at the rear. Speedo way outta whack.
Cheers

Filco in Nelson does the DRD ones. I have had 2 and they work well.

DRD seems easy enough to set up. Haven't calibrated it yet.

If you use a GPS to work out how fast you are going then you can use the online tool to give you the % change. To program it is a 5 min job.

My owners manual states something like - actual speed is calculated then the computer adds 8%. So I figure a indicated 110 is really only say 102 and fine ........ I may need to find a helpful Policeman with a radar to confirm.

Just load a speedo app on your phone. My 500 hasn't been on the road to adjust yet.
Done the Tiger but that is just some software to adjust the stock setup.

I have a speedo healer. Got it from Oztralia. Can't remember the company though.
Although they are easy to calibrate, in my case, installing it into a GSX-R600 was a bastard of a job. The junction it plugs in to is not that easily accessed.
I also had problems with the healer not working correctly. Or at all in fact. I dealt with the manufacturers in Hungary who spent a huge amount of effort getting the issue sorted. Which they eventually did. Turned out they had used a chip, made in China, that was not quite up to spec. My bike and about two others world wide didn't like the chip...
Nice to have an accurate speedo though.

The DRD is tiny, just a few components on a small PCB. The Healer is in a small box which needs to be mounted somewhere.
You need the manual in front of you to program the DRD, but it's not hard to do.

I have used 3 speedodrds before. They are great. Easy to calibrate, esp using a gps. Recommend
Motomummy in the USA as good to deal with. I have a heal tech on my WR. Can't comment as I have not checked it yet. Nice knowing what appears on the speedo is very accurate.
