I've bought a few things from Revzilla over the years and have always had good service but the latest purchase which arrived this morning takes the prize - 4 days since ordering - pretty exceptional :2thumbsup. They're Gerbing heated gloves with a temperature controller which clearly won't be needed for a while but they're a birthday present from my Financial Controller  .

I had heated grips on my Blackbird which were ok but still left my fingertips cold. The Street Triple only has Acerbis wind deflectors which helped a fair bit but I suffered on early morning longish trips from Coro to Auckland or down into the Waikato. With a new bike only a week away, thought it was time to try gloves rather than hot grips. The Gerbing user reviews seem pretty good and the quickly detachable electrical connections appear effective too.

Do any KB'ers have long term experience with Gerbing products?

I'm three weeks and waiting for a tail tidy I ordered from Italy. I'ts been stuck in Geneva Italy post for 2 of those three weeks. The seller assures me it will arrive - maybe another ten days.

I may pay extra and buy the pipes ex USA when I pull finger on that purchase ......

Ha! I sympathise with you Allan. When I wanted to buy the Barracuda mini-screen for my Triple, the Italian manufacturers wanted to charge me $99 Euros for postage, must have been a mafia-run company. I finally got a friend in England to source one from the UK and he sent it over for 22 Euros! I normally use YouShop to trans-ship stuff from the USA but this time, I used Revzilla direct. They were more expensive but not outrageously so, unlike some other US suppliers.

Good luck with the tail tidy and pipes :niceone:

I bought a screen for my bike from https://www.louis.de/en and it arrived within 6 days from Germany.

Same model here was 2x the price.

Pretty amazing if you ask me.

Can't help with the Gerbil gloves either (how many does it take to make a pair?) but glad Revzilla are getting good reviews. I need to replace my fanfuckingtastic Dianese jacket and the choice in NZ is limited - and none existent down here. Have been conversing with Revzilla over the last few days and while I still have reservations about throwing that amount of money at an online clothing purchase they will probably get my business.

Good to hear thanks. They're the G3, wired. Got the softest leather I've ever seen on a glove but that's not worth much if they don't work well. However, the testimonials on various websites are really good.

I've bought two sets of Scorpion gloves (unavailable for love or money in NZ) from them, fantastic each time. Also a forcefield back protector.

Customs is the only PITA thing about importing stuff really!
