Does anyone out there have experience with re-regestering a 49cc scooter? I have no papers or old plates for it sadly so how much will it cost, how much truble is it and is it worth doing?

Probably cost more to get the scooter legal than it would be worth. Unless it had some nostalgic appeal eg; you owned it years ago, I suggest it is not worth bothering with.

Use frame number, tell them it is a 1975 model so you get cheaper rego. They will give you a new plate.
