That was a good laugh.
Shame he stopped filming, hearing what the pigs had to say would have been interesting.

Now there's a rider who's ambition outweighed his talent.

Looked like he was on a supermotard, should have tried ducking down some narrow paths the plod couldn't follow instead of throwing it down the road. Or at least got the message when he almost binned on some bloody cats eyes.

Why the fuck would anyone post up a video of themselves like that?

(Unless, of course, they're a fucking moron).

Looked like he was on a supermotard.....

Really?

I think you'll find it's a Suzuki B King.

The advice still stands then.

Although, if its a suzuki, perhaps it is worth advising just light it on fire and run for it

Well, until he's learnt to ride he should probably stick to one of these Suzuki B Kings instead.

Unless you're a serial "runner", there's a pretty good chance that with all the adrenaline sloshing around in your system, your riding ability is going to take a big nosedive in those circumstances. That's from personal experience decades ago which prompted "never again"

take a look at his other clip on a drag race at masterton, and then tell me he has it sorted.... it's almost as funny as this one.

...why he ride like crap and make bike lie down?...was the bike sleepy??

Loved the cop tho..."That was a bit silly"...yeah, summed it up nicely

I honestly thought with the panic/riding skills shown, we where going to be watching ANOTHER rider seriously injure/kill themselves:crazy:...just glad the kids ok, could have escalated into a whole lot of heart ache.

...not like some on here haven't done the same stupid shit at least once<_<...or twice:facepalm:

Rather timely post this, it appears that the penalties for attempting a runner are about to increase.

What I take from it is, if you're going to try it, make sure you're successful in getting away otherwise you'll be walking for quite some time.

Yeah, those draconian police state type of laws have been in force over here for a while now..

The cops wanted payback for being told to back off on high-speed pursuits, that while ' yeehaa' fun for them, were causing community mayhem..

Guess the idea is, do the sums.. if your chances of evasion without being ID'd - are better than what it'll cost ya to stop..

Or if you are deliberately going hooning.. be a better rider, & don't leave anything ( like a real rego scan) - for the cops to pick you up on, later..

There are already siginificant fines and penalties available but like everything else the judges never dish out the max sentances.
And whats the point of tougher laws for people who think they are above them , think they will get away and also wont pay their fines anyway and the car that is going to be seized is prob on finance which they will just default on anyway!!!
What was really needed was for Police to say their will be no abandonment of pursuits and any lasting more than 2mins means an automatic armed offenders callout and permission for police to open fire.
Then you'd see a lot less think about running....

Nah, them who don't think, but react, will flee, & those who come armed for bear, will shoot back.. its a basic 'fight or flight' adrenaline response..

For the cops to escalate such low-key things needlessly is just a 'Blues Brothers' parody scenario.. ' til they start to take out passers-by, too..

Just when he takes the last shot.
All I can say is it must be the poor part of town.
It might be a couple and a shopping trolley?
But it looks like a baby in a pram.
