View Full Version : Why does the "Insert Video" button only exist in certain forums?

Pretty much the title.

E.g. It's possible to embed a video in "New Bike Model News" but not in "Bike Gear".

Is it really that much of a hassle having embedded videos in the forums where it's not allowed?

It's the way SpankMe has the settings.

Yes it is, some threads have lower functionality like PD.
None at all my Insert video via url hardly works at all in most threads.
It is as far as I am aware. Its okay to do so (as long as the media will only play if it is clicked on.)
I just embed them anyway regardless now as it is quicker.
Just use the embed option on the video its next to share

Looks like this hit reply with quote to see.
<iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/aE_Pl7T9gSU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

But no quoting of embed images is allowed as that is a major no no and will result in infractions.
