Oops - should be THE floor...


Many of you know that my partner and I are ballroom dancers.

Well the 2015 National Championship was run over the weekend and we finally managed what we thought was the impossible - we managed to win a National title. 1st place in the Masters 2 (over 50) A grade New Vogue event. Needless to say, we are pretty happy about that. :sunny:

Alright, back to work everyone, nothing more to see here.

Hamilton. First time ever. Mystery Creek Conference Centre. Which turned into an awesome venue. Really well run, great job.

My daughter was at a salsa thing in Tauranga...I though maybe it might've been a combined thing. I guess ballroom and salsa would be like getting sports bike and dirt bike riders on the same page.

Yeah - it would be a little like that. Although Salsa is pretty close to the "regular" Latin dances....
