Why does it need saving ? I probably have a look at it soon , contacted the seller and see what he says . I would prefer them in original condition , but have to see what it had fairing change ( crashed or wanted it modernised )

I wouldn't pay that much for non original condition RVF , but worth checking it out at least.

Its not that much quicker of a bike. I'd get a modern 400 like a gsr400 or cb400 if I can find one. more reliable etc

I really like it , all around is a desirable bike for me .
I have been on one and it was fun.

So that one on Trademe is a "project bike" which seems to be put together.

I am still going to check it out but what would be the value of such a bike ? Considering it's not an original RVF400 and pretty much most parts are put together ?
