Nice ride.
Me I do not like soundtracks on videos of that nature. Rather listen to the bike.

Actually I'll try and figure it out , was hoping the pannier mount was going to sound awesome....but it didn't ....would be great to do a short epic run up a hill..slower twisty as hell
but full on you know...mmmm

Hay buddy, nice vid! I grew up in Kauakapakapa and lived in Stoney Creek Rd.Woodcocks rd sealed?? never used to be, but I have been in Aus for 10 years so it may have changed a bit. Woodcocks Rd is where Tony Woodcock lives/grew up. That bridge with the white arches in your vid, I used to climb up and jump into the river as a kid. A good ride is head out to the coast from Warkworth or South Head rd From Hellensville.
I see you have basically the same bike as me. I have just brought mine across from Aus with me and picked it up last Friday. After four weeks of not having her it was great to go for a blast on Sunday on her. I have the Blue/Silver/Black Tri Colour that was only available in 08. I like the blue rims. I do like Black KR's as it suits that shape better than heaps of colour. I reckon there best feature beside the great motor is ESA, easy to change the suspension settings on the fly. I have added a MRA tinted screen, grip puppies, Ctek connection, pro grip tank pads, Tribo Seat cover, Ventura rack and two bags, BMW tank bag, Throttle Meister, aftermarket bulbs etc etc. One thing I am glad it has is Heated Grips after leaving the tropical north QLD to freezing Christchurch. I am sure I will acclimatise soon. My next two mods will be pipe and radar detector (illegal in Most of Aus). It sucks that BMW are dropping the K1300 next year.

Hey mate, thanks and yeah it's all good around there.
The 08 is the pick of the 12s pretty well sorted. That's the other bike in the vid, same year...I think it has a 2 bro's can...it's got some stomp. I had an 06 R loved that.
09 K13R has no abs, no esa, no TC...it has PCV dyno tuned, ackro and quick shifter, it's a hoot to ride
South Island bro, landed in bike heaven, enjoy

Hay buddy, yeah I like it. It gets lots of comments from other riders. How do you the find the difference between the 1200 and 1300. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/11/06/a91c2c2ed2280b3085b5c5b3a0f39faf.jpg went for a quick ride to Arthurs pass today, great ride but a little cool.

Great shot mate...that's what I was talking about...
Both bikes are very similar, huge usable power on both, the rest is just detail and model specs, I do miss ESA a bit but the quick shifter makes up for that...and I can now service my shocks...I guess the 1300 looks a bit more agro and is a bit nicer to ride, that's about all really and yeah shame they are stopping production...the s1000r hasn't quite got me like the first KR

Yeah, not a big fan of the new S1000R. I am starting to like the roads in the South Island mate. Some wicked scenery and not bad roads either. There's a mod for your K by adding a second ram air like my S. I've heard it's pretty easy and you get s couple more HP

Yeah I briefly considered the airbox mod a few years back, plenty have done it but for me it seemed like a bit of fluffing around really...and dyno time......the real action is here

Lots of cost but it's possible....
