Yep back in World Superbike with Alex Lowes and Sylvain Guintoli on board.
Glad it wasn't the little winger with the gorgeous wife who's name I can't bring myself to say.

Great news! Should be very competitive if they get enough power out of it.
Winger? I think I know who you mean, first time they showed her during a race, I did replay it a few times!

Their flash road bike looks good off the shop floor, but in WSBK it's no flasher than anything else on the grid.

That could be for faulty indicator switches though, more info required.
New Gixxer looks good for racing, though Robert's 'no gas forks in superstock' rule is gonna need to be chucked out.

The recall is for gearbox problems, but no info on how many bikes are affected.

Some of the gears are not strong enough and are breaking.
That's a pretty fucken costly job to fix.

I would demand a NEW Complete Motor, or all my money back, imagine some of the monkeys that will work on these motors in the big big countries around the world. Re the GAS FORKS in superstock- The rules are already way over the top and basically a superbike anyway. Bring back full on Prodi racing I say, slip on muffler only!!!

Second, third and fourth *could* possibly fail under extreme conditions if the rider is a rough bastard.
Instead of taking the chance they're doing a recall. They're replacing motors to fix the gearbox cos it's easier and there's less chance of someone slapping a law suit on them.

Wonder how many have lost the right to get it fixed, by turning them into race bikes.

The Warranty work was on a GSXR 750 several years ago another gearbox problem...3rd shit itself on me and they were happy to include it as a warranty job.
