I have a fzr750 race bike that I am putting a permanent red rear light on for wet meets.

I have a 10-30v led light from repco part no RLMRBL and have a fuse box I was going to wire straight to the battery with the fuse box inline to a switch but I also have the wiring from the light switch on the handle bar I could use.

My question is can I use the switch on the wireing harness and just hook the wires up and use the switch on the bars to turn on or off or will this damage the harness.
If I can use the switch should I use the fuse holder before the light?.

I have heard some thing about needing resistors if using leds but don't know anything about wiring.

Any advise???.

Straight in the standard wires is fine.

If it's 10-30V you won't need resistors.

Nah, the only time ya want them is in the indicator circuit.

You know those sheep you screw on a regular basis, the noises they make when you ram it in without lube, is the sound of resistors. Hillbilly retard you.:motu:
