My niece lives in Brisbane and has sent photos of some of the bizarre looking critters that appear on her deck and up the ranch sliders of their lounge.
Anyone here been terrorised by native wildlife anywhere?

While I had a great chuckle watching Skippy bound across the gold course I know roos can be very dangerous. Imagine all the dangerous things there that can creep up on you without so much warning!

used to love it. I'd go down the park in urban syndey and pull snakes out of the trees.
People flipped out.
Bit like shark fishing here, at beaches where people are swimming...

I think Skippy was pissed over the WRC result - probably lost a couple of bucks! :blip:

Having just moved from Aus I know all about the wildlife. Skippies are idiots as are Emu's. I've ridden over snakes that are as long as the roads wide. I've had snakes swimming beside my bike whilst crossing flood ways. I've had eagles fly into my chest etc etc. I think a couple of possums and a hedgehog are too much to worry about.

Just curious, had skippy caught up with the squealing golfers (both definitely lovin the cock I'd say) what kind of justice would it have dished out? I understand they can kick, but I wasn't aware that they were dangerous like a grizzly bear.

Many year ago, when I were just a nipper, me Mum got stalked, bailed up and then robbed of her "Topsy" ice-cream. By an emu. At Healseville Sanctuary. It saw the goodies and just took 'em.

I near pissed me pants laughing at the time but she was bit shirty about it...ya didn't ever want to scare my Mum..as I found out eventually.

If you scared her she was. I made the mistake once of hiding and jumping out at her as she came into the house. First reaction was to beat shit out of me. Only did that once...
