Bell Star Carbon. By far the best helmet I have ever used, Super comfortable, and very quiet compared to the Arai Helmts I always used in the past

Are they that good?

No pinlock lens? Thats kind of a deal breaker for me.

Speaker mounts?

What about airflow?

I had two Bell M2s. Great helmets.

I'd suggest that if speaker connections are a priority in a helmet, you either need to spend a lot of money, or review whether riding a bike is really what you want to be doing.
Air flow is another matter - very important.

Difficult to get a quiet helmet with good air flow because moving air makes noise. Don't believe any of that crap you see in the heat pump ads on TV, if it's silent it's not moving much air.

Helmets designed for racing tend to be noisier than touring helmets 'cause the racers need more ventilation and are less worried about the extra noise. Anyhoo they are wearing plugs.

Yup.

Different helmets will be louder on the same bike due to how the air hits it. My track helmet is loud as hell but its stable at speed where my Shoei is not. Thats not bad helmet design, its how it all works on my set up.

The stability was a real bonus with the Bell Star Carbon.

I have one, comfortable, good air, and I hope as durable as my Moto 3 which I've had since 1972 or so. Not as light as those HJC or whatever they are called but light enough.
