Petrol could be available again at Castlepoint?

Went for a tiki tour out to Castlepoint yesterday. The general store is open again but doesn't have gas, I was told that the pub at Whakataki does. Haven't actually used them though so can't be 100% sure.

Oh man, I haven't been out there for ages. Didn't even know the store/pub/restaurant had even closed. Was for sale last time I was out there. Is that pub on the corner on the way out to Castlepoint still open?

Yeah, that's the pub with the pumps - out the front and to the right.

Apparently the family who owned the general store got sick of it ages ago but it's taken forever to sell.
