Hi guys
Thinking of parting with my TZR and though would put up here to see if there's any interest before trying trademe.
Was a bit of a mess when I got her, spent a few dollars and a lot of time on the old girl, she has a new top end 2nd oversize and new crank seals, POR 15 in the tank, 3layer 1k white pearl paint new vinyl decals copied from originals in correct colours and other various new bits and pieces.
Fairings have been repaired and new hand blisters from Just Fairings.
Not mint but what I consider a tidy example of a classic 2smoke.
Seat needs new cover and may get that sorted soon. Still needs a little fine tuning but still goes like a rocket.

To be honest I would rather do a deal for a RZ250/350R in need of work/restoring if anyone is interested or has something.
Learnt to ride on RZ's and thought the TZR would satisfy my craving but not quite, still really want an RZ. Until then I am loving that awesome 2 stroke power band and oh the sweet smell of buring oil again after all these years.

I put 6K on it but only as I have no realistic idea on what she's worth.

Forgot to mention she has Pirelli Diablo tyres front half worn and rear near new, new WOF and reg on hold

Yep sikk, and not even LAM's approved, pretty amazing power to weight for a nearly 30 year old 250.

I had one around 2010 I bout for $1800 and sol a year later for 2k after the wife dropped it a couple of times.

3.5k would be a good starting point if it were on tard me I think.

I would love another, and Im tempted to make an offer, but Ive just spent a fuckload on my other bike and the wife already isnt happy.

Haha yeah know about having to keep her indoors happy, if I find an RZ something has to go otherwise I will get :angry2: from her.

Cheers for the heads up on pricing, if I manage to find an RZ I will get serious about selling the TZR until then I will just enjoy rideing her (the bike not to wife :laugh:)

she's only got 300ks on new top end at moment so not even run in yet (again the bike not the wife that ones been around the clock by now I think :killingme)

Yep seen it very nice but now have a 85 RZ250R and the TZR is staying in my garage to keep the RZ company.
