Good condition GN125H for sale in Dunedin. About 8500km on it, well looked after. New tires just put on, front light changed to LED and top box on it, other then that as stock.

Eh? I've gotten a WOF with an LED bulb. So long as it's within the rules you're good to go from my understanding?

It says " too bright, eg due to the fitment of an HID conversion kit (Note 8) or other incorrect light source." It doesn't say what "too bright" is though. I wouldn't say it's any brighter then most car headlights. Still have the old bulb and holder anyway if it's an issue.

HID is completely different to LED and need projector housings so they don't blind the fuck out of everyone on the road. LED's are fine when set up correctly, just like halogens are fine when set up correctly ;) You do need a high and low LED bulb though, which not all of them are.

I'm not 100% sure what you mean by high low LED, but it has four separate LEDS in an diamond pattern, top two that are on when "dipped" which point up, and end up reflecting down, and then bottom two also turn on, on high beam, reflecting forward and up.

Some LED bulbs are like household ones, just on or off. Those are illegal for obvious reasones. Your one is fine ;)
It's awesome being able to see without squinting to hell and just riding blind when passing other traffic aye! Not as good in fog but you're kinda fucked in thick fog either way :laugh:
