Let me be the first one to say thankyou to Andrew for organising this for us. If you took it for what it is (mindless entertainment) it was a good laugh. Andy & I enjoyed the movie. Shame about the weather, here's hoping for some sunshine and a decent ride next time. It was good to finally meet some of you and put a face to the name. Look forward to actually riding with you guys some time.

Cheers :niceone:

Cheers :niceone:Couldn't make it due to a round trip Auckland Wellington and back on Friday which saw me home at 08:00 am on Saturday. I almost want to go and see it just for the RSVR, but then I have one in the garage to drool over and ride on.
Glad you all had a good time, shame about the weather.

Hah, Torque (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0329691) is #27 on IMDB's Bottom 100 (http://us.imdb.com/bottom_100_films) list.. It is not as bad as Battlefield Earth (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0185183) but worse than Smokey and the Bandit III (http://us.imdb.com/Title?0086325)...

Of course that's all just opinion. I think it was lots of fun, but no body I tell will believe me.

Also, for plenty of online movie fun, I recommend visiting and joining The Hollywood Stock Exchange (http://www.hsx.com/) where Martin Henderson (http://movies.hsx.com/servlet/SecurityDetail?symbol=MHEND) is currently down a point and a half...

I feel sorry for those who were so hung up on "thats not possible" or "there was too much cgi".
These after all are not things that would be said about the lord of the rings.

If we support this kind of movie through ticket sales there will be more. If we don't the genre will die.... to all the naysayers at least you still have the choice!
