Up at 7, back at 3. Excellent weather and workable traffic. A loop from WangaVegas to Turangi via the Parapara Hwy, then to Taupo around the far side of the lake, SH1 to Palmy, SH4 to home again.

That's a nice ride. Been a while since I went up or down the ParaParas, an interesting piece of road.

I know he dunit, Ol RD would never tell fibs about riding, an not on those roads, some of the best motorcycle roads in NZ. Spent all day in a workshop grinding off rust from the underside of a horse float. Lucky for me it was on a mates hoist. Still look like an original Black an white minstrel right now, but hey, plenty time for a ride next week.
Keep the home fires burning RDJ.
One day we'll make it that far south again, and we will call ahead.

Nope. I didn't even mount the helmet cam... I just fired up the steed and rode like we did in the Old Days.
