Im putting larger rims on my RG150
I have the GSX 3.0" Rear on, was going to put the 2.5" on the front.
Questions, The std front rim is 1.85" running a 90 wide slick, I think FXR is the same combo, but people put the 2.5" on front and run the 90 wide slick? It works ok and is beneficial?
At some stage I will put putting wider wheels on my CBR150. 3.5 rear, 2.5 front? Looking at this.

Do you more experienced guys think I should fit the 2.5" rim to CBR150 Front end. OR
Replace the complete front end with something elce like the 89CBR600 or MC17 (front end, forks, brake, disk, rim)
Providing I can get the right size bearings.
Can anyone tell me where I can get the following bearings.
17x42x13
17x35x11
These are bearings to fit the GSX Rear wheel. But fit the RG 17mm Axle Bolt. (GJ72 runs a 15mm Axle bolt)

17x35x10 6003 any bearing place should have these Saeco , SMP, etc
15x35x11 6202
15x42x13 6302
it may be easier to go to a 15mm axle as 17 x42 isnt a standard bearing

2.5 is ideal for the 90 front slick. 2.15 is OK but you don't get the full footprint. 1.85 is just wrong and pinched. Still better than running street tyres but far from ideal.

Yes, as dave mentioned, rs125 nx4 rims are 2.5 front and 3.5 rear. The 90 front and 120 rear section slicks are made for them, so as to suit the tyre selection, a good choice. You can get late model cbr150 rims in these sizes from Thailand if you want.

Yea I see 17x35x10 is easy to get.
Will try with bearings first. Will be easiest.
If I haveto run the 15mm axle on the RG. The Swingarm holes are for 17mm. Spacers are for 17mm. Brake mounting metal piece has 17mm hole through.
Will try saeco when they open, Cheers.

Im pretty sure faddybike supplied the set i have seen in wellington. On secound thoughts, you might aswell just get a set of rs125 rims, generally cheap or free to a good home.
