Less than a week to go no so I thought I tout it a bit.

To get there head towards Turangi on SH41 just south of manunui, Body road is the first on the left about 2km along, head over the bridge and then turn left almost immediately. If the gates are closed when you get there please shut them again, there may be cows. Follow the gravel track along and again swing left where straight ahead would take you to the farmhouse.

Lovely place, the closest thing I can describe it to is a DOC campground with a racetrack and with less people. The track isn't as simple as it looks from the air, or from the ground looking over the fence, the sweeper isn't easy to get right and is quite a fast corner. Way more traction than you would expect from a track in the middle of nowhere that hardly gets used both in the dry and in the wet. Good swiming hole if you walk upstream about 150m to where the river takes a right bend.

Camping at the track is available from Friday night either through the gates next to the track or behind the club rooms by the river, if you beat me there give me a call on 021 145 3090 and I'll tell you how to get the keys if you need to unlock the gates, toilets or club rooms.
Please take all your rubbish home as per normal. Cost is covered in your entry fee with no extra charge for hangers on.

Prices will be either $30/40 entry, $10 transponder hire and $30 for a day licence, the day licence has gone up $5 because we have been selling them at a loss since MNZ put the price up six months ago.

Surely not?
We're not coming, no time as home tidy up/renovation has taken over my life :(

Should really start packing the trailer. On the positive side I did check this afternoon to make sure the air bed fits in the back of the station wagon, a tent just seems like hard work.

I drunkenly arranged to be there but I won't. Hoped to get Darrin riding the 100. Think that would have been an eye opener considering the CB he was riding makes 16hp.

Have fun. Wish I could race there, kid and flight cancellations mean I couldn't have made it anyway. Trail ride Sunday should make up for it.

Sore knee, shoulder, middle finger, and ring finger. All pretty consistent with hitting the track hard, you are just lucky I bounce well. Lets not do it again aye.
