Looks reasonable, the headlights look good, the exhaust less so, and looks a bit loud too?

I'm loving the single rear swing arm conversion (though I own a predator, so I am biased).

I would replace those terrible rear sets and remove the "rear wing".
would look boss if you blacked out the motor also.

So.. its some kinda Triumph homage?
Why not get a real Speed Triple?

If you like loud pipes - a 3 sounds ( & feels) - so much better than that busy/buzzy 4..

Dunno if the new Triumphs do drop it, don't the retro guys have to over-lube their chains, to obtain the 'authentic' oil-drip affectation?

& what is all that black shit clearly visible on the floor - in your pix, ( apart from them horrible big lumps of Honda, natch) - L.O.L...

Too funny..

You do realize that this "forum" is social media, & that you did - in fact - post pix & invite comment?

Maybe you'd be best to stay in the privacy of your room - polishing your helmet, if you don't like it, Honda-boy..

Your no biker if you don't like what I said that ok but sometimes it better to keep your mouth shut ,
I'm not going to waste my time on someone like you who doesn't love motorbikes but just like to play as a big man and likes to hear the sound of his own voice,

one of the more useful features of this forum is the "ignore dickheads" setting. Go to Settings, top right then scroll down the left hand menu till you get to "Edit Ignore List", and put people you dont want to see posts from in the ignore list. Then when you are scrolling thru all you see is "This message is not displayed becuase the user is on your ignore list".

Its great, and makes dealing with trolls and retards way easier.

I used to own a black Hornet. I like the pipe and single sided swingarm on yours: did you do it and was there much engineering involved? How does the suspension linkage work? Not a massive fan of the wee round headlights but whatever floats your boat. I own an 09 Street Triple which has two D-cup round headlights. The big reason I havent upgraded is I dont like the cateye look.

Wrong Honda-boy.. it is you who is the "looser" for attempting to be a wannabe ( but faux) Speed Triple rider..

I have owned Triumphs, ( still have the T-shirt), but only one 4T Honda..
.. ( admittedly it was a wee bit interesting, being a Yoshimura equipped XL 250 mill in a CR chassis) , but I won't bother with another
one.. too anodyne, ( & which no doubt, is why - you've disguised yours as a used Triumph, too)..L.O.L...

Predator swingarm and rear wheel? How did that go fitting and aligning it?

I owned a Hornet 900 with lottsa mods for 8 years. Great bikes.

Your pipe must be a rowdy bugger I ran twin Yoshis with modified db killers and that was vocal (and I'd done a repack last year).

IMO ignore the black engine suggestion - the titanium engines look much better - the last (07) Hornets had a full black engine and to me looked bland and a bit tryhard.

Somewhere on my random internet travels I've seen a retro round headlight conversion kit for the current pussy eyes set-up.

The swing arm was a long job with all the shimming but once done it handles alot better now,
Yes I'll keep the motor as is looking in to turbo at the min and a upside down front end

Looks pretty good fella, rear ends nice...did you do it yourself? At one stage was going to do similar on my old Suzuki but got lazy and gave it away.Personally dont like the headlights but hey as you say each to there own, theres some pretty sweet aftermarket can options out there that would really set that rear end off imho.Good work and nice to see...these days "modding" a motorcycle seems to mean to many buy a new helmet.

There was a chap on the US 919 forum I used to play on that added a turbo - had issues and melted a few sets of pistons. Reckon he had it wound up way to high in the boost department originally.

Front swap has been popular - SP2 forks were the biz but if you have the wares to make or $ to pay for custom triples you can fit anything. Only issue with the Hornet is the stock forks are fairly long compared to USD sports sets, you rear appears a bit raised already (thus tightening up the fronts angle) so keep an eye on this. If you don;t care about it being a Honda front I had been considering a Bussa front end ex USA as the length was pretty good.

Looking at my Ducati I suspect the forks on it would be suitable as well for length.

Fair enough,i took the easy way out as it was....easy  and just needed shims for bottom clamps and spacers for calipers, from memory slighty longer bolts for radial calipers as GSXR discs were slightly smaller.Post up pics when you get to doing it.Good work.

Testing my memory now but I am positive the Hornet stem needs removing and pressing into the RC triples then it is a bolt on job. Those front ends will be getting scarce now - years back when I was sniffing around ebay for a set they were getting good prices for a set of forks that needed a recondition. Thus the tape measure look at more modern options.

I am pretty sure I still have a Hornet 900 stem in the shed that you are welcome to if you want it. Used - will need to be checked for true (I purchased used) but yours for the price of post if you want.

I had the underside of the top triple alloy filled and was going to file down the 22 mm handlebar mounts and drill to fit ones for a set of fat-bars. Never got around to it. Welcome to the triples if you want to.

Bet it is mate, hadnt been on the TL forum for ages but had a look the other day...way back when the GSXR front end as i did was the thing to do these days guys are sticking really late model R1 front ends on the things:wacko: All good and nice to see blokes doing things different.

There appears to be a good supply of f-all km stock sport bike front ends in the USA as they often swap them out for spiffy top-end Ohlins when racing. And entire low km bikes get parted out all the time.

Probably good I don't live there - I'd have a shed full of 'one day' project parts and bikes ....

turbo vs supercharger? In that Rotrex make superchargers and I've always thought that power (instant from down low) was better suited to a motorbike - not that I have ridden either..... plus that sound.
