Kai Iwi Lakes

we are going camping at Kai Iwi Lakes, has anyone taken dirt bikes there?
is it dirt bike friendly, is there anywhere to ride them?

There used to be a MTB and walking track around the lake, but I wouldn't ride a motor bike there (don't want to upset the other campers). The beach is only 10-15 mins down the road so plenty of space to ride motor bikes.
