Any of you guys know of anyone that stocks/likely has spare new or used reel spools in NZ? Specifically looking for Penn 850ssm spool.

Was in there early last year and Steve, feckin lervely fella, was bemoaning the Penn's so didn't really think about going there for spools. Will do the next time I'm in Wellytoon though. Ta muchly.

I've ordered parts for reels through Hunting and Fishing ... they should be able to get extra spools.

My recent experience wasn't with Hunting and Fishing wasn't stellar, not disastrous like, but again, they were also pushing me away from the Penn. You'd think I'd take the hint huh ;).

:laugh: Nah, just have a few rods more than I had last week and need another spool to load for the surf casting gear. Might just end up with another 850ssm as they look to be about another $30/$40 on top of the cost of a new spool. The missus will not be best pleased given the latest shopping spree :wari:
