That comment set me thinking seriously (yeah, sad I know). I slowly realised that EVERY woman I have ever seen riding a BMW was on an adventure bike and it was usually in the middle of nowhere.

Even the occasional one that has stopped to talk on one of our overseas trips, owned a GS.

I know my preference is showing but I think that's kinda cool.

Just saw that series of Guy riding around India on one...
They are cool old school bikes designed to fall apart and repair on the side of the road. His side stand broke, stopped, welded a bit on and away he went! Good old Indian mechanics.
I hear they are making a ADV bike as well....Must be to rival KTM made there...:clap:

Great fun to ride around India on, in 3 weeks I narrowly avoided death dozens of times. Once you get rid of " having the right away" and your horns working your good to go.

She's obviously still an epic lady on a BMW.
Still knobbly tyres though as mentioned earlier. Even the hugely able woman that Oscar referred us to, although she owns a road oriented Beemer, posted almost entirely offroad photos of it.
Must be a trend there somewhere
