I wasn't sure if it was a one-off or not, as it said "THE END" at the end.:weird:

A bit lightweight, but entertaining.

Yeah it was pretty good last week. Fills the gap left by Eating Media Lunch quite nicely.

I just sat (watching it by chance) there last week going 'wtf?'.

I was in tears when he was walking up to that mum and asked her if she was a whore. It was very amusing how she tried to grab the kid back.

Fuckmaster General. I'd like to see the job description for that role...

Casting the mind back, I remember quite well the furore that surrounded Angela D'Audneys tits :eek5:

And how the HELL did someone who looks like Flora McKenzie get anyone to sleep with her for MONEY!!!!!! :Pokey:

I always though being old fashioned ment being conservative.. However looking back into the history, it seems to be quite the opposite!

Classic bits from last nights episode.... :2thumbsup

1) Referrring to 1981's Red Squad riot batons as "Minto Sticks"

2) Classic interview responses from the Ingham twins ("Yeah", "Awright", "Nah")

3) Brian Edwards about to get munted by some gang members

4) Robin Gibb getting assaulted on stage by some stoned hippy

5) Peter "Care for some Marmite?" Sinclair telling everybody to "behave yourselves and we'll all have a groovy time" (check here for a disturbing story on this topic http://www.spinner.co.nz/0901/marmite.htm)

6) At last, the truth "came out" about the violence surrounding the 1981 Springboks tour. Apparently 5 of the team were openly gay (3 tops and 2 bottoms) and were harangued by an overly homophobic public sporting some humorous (if not quite P.C.) banners.

Jeremy Wells is a funny bloke, and well shot of Havoc.

That's what they were nicknamed back then - after John (I think) Minto.

Edit: Arrgh. Wasted my 2000th post on a short reply. Was going to post something profoundly edifying - or at least funny - for my "Double Forum Whore" post.

:whocares:

Yeah it was another classic show alright!
Jeremy Wells must spend all day trawling through the NZ media archives. Looks like it'd be a bit of fun!

Yeah and I wonder how many of the bike gang members are still alive after watching them riding on the wrong side of the road and the vehicle just about sideswiping one of them.
I do hope they improved there riding skills after that day.

First time that was ever seen on TV the film about the bike gang members.
The guy eating the pigs eye really grossed me out.
