So let the motorcyclist go? aye guys!
Soft cocks.
I saw a bike rider going way too fast, passing illegally and when stopped, he was bumped off his bike and made to comply with a Police Officer's directions.
Nothing to see here, should not have been given anything except a bloody medal for getting another poser who thinks he's above the law off the road.
Break the rules, suffer the consequences.

so are you saying its OK for a policeman to break the rules in the performance of his duty..........i don't mean the chase bit.....just the excessive violent force bit after the offender stopped for him.........are those the consequences you speak of??

Now you horrible lot, you've been a police person for many years you've seen the results of these cowboys doing THEIR shit and you're over it, you've had more than one hiding from people walking towards you with their hands in the air. You finally get him to a place where he can't run any further,he still doesn't stop, so you bump his bike out from under him. First off he can't escape before you can get out of your car.
Then as he approaches you, you see the signs and act first, instead of getting a beating.
You cuff him and stuff him and wait for backup.
OK.
Your turn folks.
How are you going to do what this officer did and stay alive long enough to do it over and over again.
Scum bags will always be scum bags, this one didn't get hit hard enough to slow down a mossie let alone break something, I say BS and definitely I'd want this officer doing his duty and staying alive on my side.
Seems you lot all want things to be exactly as the UN has prescribed, the bad guys can do anything they want, but get even close to using their tactics against them ( the only effective counter measure) and you must be held to account for every bruise you put on an OFFENDER in the execution of your duty.
Col. no I'm not saying it's OK to beat on just anyone, but making sure you are safe while you make sure this prick is stuffed and cuffed and you live does make this situation more than bearable. Stop hamstringing your front line law defenders.

You should watch the video... (now there's something I don't say often :bleh: )

Or just check procedure, and highlight where it says, kick compliant suspect in chest, or knock suspect off stationary vehicle.

Or, just apply the innocent until proven guilty thing; I know, it's tedious and gets in the way of a good bit of bigotry, but just give it a go eh!

I'm starting to think Caseye's law-enforcement career may have ended earlier than he was planning. I suppose I should be thankful my house didn't get burned down when I got that infraction?

The motorcyclist wasn't even doing a runner, ffs! It was pretty clear that he had no idea the pig was behind him until the intersection.

I doubt the kick that was caught on camera did the damage.

It was more likely the dropped knee once the guy was on the ground.

A nudge with his car and a little half ass kick to the chest? For a US cop that is far from excessive.

Chucky wudda been driving a dust covered 3 ton Dodge truck, a 'Real Mans' pursuit machine, the chase would have crossed three sections, thru' a block wall and tipped over an 18 wheeler, and if Chuck had've kicked the guy he would still be cartwheeling through the air. :bash:

I dont get this kind of comment. The biker brought it on himself for speeding and crossing yellow lines? Lucky for this biker the jury didnt share your views or other cunts saying the cop was just doing his job.

Not singling you out but the amount of douchebaggery and fuckwits on KB that say "dont speed" make me want to smash plates. They claim that they're ok with paying a fine if they get caught. If a cop rammed them off their high horse kick their head in then see if they come posting on here for sympathy. Or would they lump it because they deserved it they were speeding.

Share my views? - Perhaps you should read my post again fully! - the nice outcome was the foolish cop got his just deserts - the rider still had to pay his fines!

If the rider had not taken the risk and offended in the first place - non of this would have happened.

It was pretty clear that he had no idea the pig was behind him until the intersection.

Agreed. You can see his helmet nod sharply at which point he is probably saying "FUCK!" Then again it is hard to lip read, especially from behind a helmet.

The cop was a jerk. His driving was more dangerous than the guy he was chasing, he didn't need to hit the bike, he didn't need to lie about it in court, he didn't need to draw his gun and he definitely didn't need to kick the dude. The $180,000 shoulda come out of his pocket.

So now he's in charge of the whole department. It starts to become clear why some of the US police forces are as bad as they are. And some of them are very bad.

Some American police have something with a name like shoe leather tax? If they have to chase you and they catch you, you will get a beating or get tazered or some other "punishment" for putting the fat fucks to the inconvenience. This idiot of a cop may have thought the guy on the bike was trying to elude him, but having watched the clip a couple of times in the past week or so I think it's fairly clear he was not.

I did read your post fully and to say none of this would have happened if he wasnt speeding is irrelevant. Its attributing blame to the rider and attempting to condone the behaviour of the cop. A bit like telling a victim of rape it never would have happened if she wasnt walking down street. Its not the riders fault the cop rammed him and assaulted him. The cop did it because hes an asshole who thinks hes above the law.

I can read mate - your meaning is clear to me .. if you mean something else then I can recommend a good course for writing for comprehension of others ...

And yes - the rider was breaking the law (as I have done frequently, including this morning ...) Do I condoen that action ??? I don't know .. How can I comdemn the action of others when I do the same thing .. but that does NOT negate the fact that ramming a stopped bike, pulling as gun on an unarmed man and booting him the chest is a conmplete over-reaction ...

To suggest that the cop reacted appropriately is also to say that Israeli police acted appropriately shooting dead children who were throwing stones ..
