The cop was a jerk. His driving was more dangerous than the guy he was chasing, he didn't need to hit the bike, he didn't need to lie about it in court, he didn't need to draw his gun and he definitely didn't need to kick the dude. The $180,000 shoulda come out of his pocket.

So now he's in charge of the whole department. It starts to become clear why some of the US police forces are as bad as they are. And some of them are very bad.

Some American police have something with a name like shoe leather tax? If they have to chase you and they catch you, you will get a beating or get tazered or some other "punishment" for putting the fat fucks to the inconvenience.
