Crashed bike. paramedics cut my gear off.
will double check size after work, but in need of some new gear.
No rush, broken bones + broken bike = no riding for a while
Thankyou!

Sorry to hear and hope you're recovering ok.
My wife has a Teknic waterproof bomber-style jacket which she has literally only worn twice before having to give up pillioning because of a hip problem. It is in as-new condition and size is 38 (US) 48 (EU). It's still hanging up with the rest of her gear as we haven't been in any hurry to sell. As per photo, it's silver grey and black.
If it's of any interest, PM me and we can sort out something.
Cheers,
Geoff

I've got an old one you can have for free. I have 4 jackets of various quality. not sure on sizing for you unfortunately.
How are you feeling? Not scared of motorbikes? Have you learnt how to avoid another accident the same happening again?
If you have a small head I've also got a brand new helmet I've never worn you can have. I got it cheap and don't actually need it. Plus it has a scratched visor and I cbf replacing it.

thankyou for the replies so far!
i am definitely a small (womens) on the jacket so whatever you think fits :)
@blackbird: thankyou very much! not entirely sure but I'll certainly let you know!!
@russiansteel: Heya, would it be too bold to ask if i can perhaps try it? mind you, doubt it'll fit the cast lol!
@haydes55: I'll head over to CT and try the sizes you say your jacket is, just to get an idea of how it'll sit on me :) are you able to send me more details on it? im an XS on helmet, so probably wont work. Though tbh i'm keen to get another Bell, seeing as it saved the mush in le skull
in terms of post accident, i do feel pretty neutral about the whole ordeal. last couple nights i've had "nightmares" of crashing again, but accidents come with riding. Certainly haven't been put off (much to everyones dismay!)
very definitely learnt a few things to ensure next time i don't stuff up, and certainly cant wait to put these all into action once both myself and the bike are fixed :P

well, i insist you try it out but you are probably right that you won't fit with the cast at the moment.
oh, and more importantly it's a men's jacket, don't know how much (i'm sure it does make a difference) a difference it makes... (tapatalk can be a real pain sometimes :brick:)
PS hope you didn't do too much damage physically and mentally =)

Yea, the fact its a mens jacket is why i want to try it haha.
very much a long shot if it fits, but hey! credit for trying!!
Considering the details of the incident, i was damn lucky. only broke left thumb, damaged right shoulder, and bruised up... damn lucky.
Yet to see the trusty CBR. She's currently sitting on a mates front lawn. From what he's told me, it sounds like the bike got off lightly too!
aiming to relocate bike this fri so can start stripping her down and initiate the bike recovery program.

Lucky you weren't still in the seat.

Took a corner far too wide and think i target fixated on the side of road. Absolutely dumb as i know it would've been easily avoidable, but dunno. guess i just panicked.
Thankfully got bucked off so no mashed stephasaur that day!

Hillsborough way - I do have a tentative plan to head over to Devonport this weekend so I can bring it along.

Always wondered how a bike is grown!
Nice accident, gotta do it properly yeah? My first accident was rather lame and no way near as exciting as yours. Glad to hear you are on the mend and ready to get back out there though!
