Vietnam Bike Tours

Has anyone done a Vietnam guided bike tour recently and with a company you'd recommend using? With Air Nz doing direct flights it's easier to get to now, but best season to go?

I've ridden the length of the country and it was fantastic. Didn't do it with guides though - just bought bikes off Craigslist in Hanoi, got a Vietnamese SIM card with google maps and away we went :)

Just did two weeks with Digby Greenhalgh of Explore Indochina through the NZ agent Chris & Mac de Wagt of Motorbike Ventures Indochina NZ on a 110cc Minsk. hell of a good time on mountain roads north of Hanoi. Digby's outfit did the Top Gear show, Charlie Boorman and others. Has classic Russian bikes, Urals and Minsk that are bullet proof and so easy to ride. Scenery stunning, food awesome, people really friendly. Would go again tomorrow
