The inaugural Shiny Side Up Bike Fest is an event not to be missed! There will be lots of stunning bikes on display (including some of the museum’s), and heaps of things to see, do and enjoy – all with a motorcycle connection.
So get your mates together for a ride out to the stunning Kapiti Coast, or even take the family (there’s plenty to keep youngsters occupied). The day will include a riding display by the NZ Police team, music, food and coffee stalls, discounted museum entry, plus a whole lot more.
Attending will be top riding instructors and racers, the inspirational Brittany Morrow (icon of rockthegear.org), Avalon Biddle, Ian 'Afterburner 2' Wilkins, and US-based suspension guru Dave Moss. Come along, meet the experts and get some tips on technique, set-up and advanced riding.
This event is brought to you by the NZ Transport Agency and Greater Wellington Regional Council, in collaboration with ACC's Ride Forever team, and with support from all local councils in the region.
Put the date in your diary and share! We look forward to seeing you there...
