Just wanted to share an ongoing thread from a Trials site. My engineering abilities end at fixing the strings on a carrier bag but this has really caught my eye. Titanium welders and frame builders, enjoy.

That's fucking cool, dude's a master machinist. Not sure I'd agree with the decision not to redesign the parts to better suit the process, but I can certainly appreciate the purist approach he took.
If you like that sort of thing, and even find it a bit cathartic; I'd recommend clickspring on youtube. Not pushing the boundaries so much, just solid fabrication.

Very nice work.
Got to be a labour of love, though.
"impossible to sell, too long to make..."
Says it all really.

So does anyone know anyone in Christchurch that can fab up a disc mount and chainstay to seatstay brace for my old Titanium Litespeed mountainbike frame? Love you long time. Its 3.5/5 I think

Probably 3/2.5.
Try SRD in Blenheim. Superb work.
