Hi guys.Happy to report that after wanting a harley for years but never getting one because of various circumstances I have bitten the bullet and am now the proud owner of a 100th Anniversary FXD.
I did 700 km on the day I picked it up and have probably covered close to 2k km in the first two weeks.Fair to say I love it.320051

Plus I'm 60 now and the riding position wasn't the most comfartable.Still great bikes though and bang for buck hard to beat.

Well done, enjoy! (and you will!)
The plus of owning a Harley is: it's the best bait to get morons, drongos wannabe funny guys and utter fuck-wits going...<_<

You're not suggesting that you'd find morons, drongos, wannabe funny guys and utter fuck-wits on this forum?

I always assumed it was a combination of age and wind up the trouser leg from the riding position that caused the bladder

Touchy about something?
Rode a Harley once, rode a Road King from Cairns up the Cpt Cook Highway to Port Douglas, really enjoyed it.
But can't afford what is asked for them. So I enjoy what I ride.
But what you ride is your choice, Harley, Italian clock developing 150 HP, jappa, whatever. I was just making a play on the phrase "the dark side", which is what I've seen the use of a car tire on the rear wheel referred to. Sorry you couldn't follow the subtlety.

This may not be true, but I heard Harley tried to sue Hyosung for copying the noise of their bikes.
It's not hard to emulate. 45° V and a shared carb/throttle body.
Edit: Ya have to fire them 45° apart. 405° will sound more even.
