http://www.progressivesuspension.com/Images/shocks/hires/420-series-clevis-hires.jpg I have recently bought a 1200 Bandit, and have started delving into adjusting things on it.....I notice that an aftermarket shock has been fitted, it appears to be a 'Progressive Suspension 420 series', What I would like to know is what the Nipple is for. There is the usual preload 'nuts' at the top and a rebound adjuster at the bottom, but then this nipple??? Can it be pumped up to raise the ride height or is it a one-off adjustment when fitting??
The reason I ask is I'm getting approx 50mm rear sag, when the write-ups point towards 30-35mm.

And if specialist tools are required to adjust, where the best place to go, and what approx price to do so.

Cheers

Without pics, I'd say that's the gas reservoir valve, DO NOT put air in it. Or let gas out.
Set your sag with the preload adjuster rings, wind down to reduce sag.
