Just a reminder that the Polished Rockers bike event is this sunday... 13th March..
This is not something you want to miss. Last one was probably the best bike show / event I've ever seen with a staggering array of bikes, happy riders, beer (hmm maybe a connection here) food and music - and its FREE...
I have no connection to this show at all but its good enough for me to post here to encourage you along. Looks like the streets going to be closed off this year to accommodate everyone, well worth the effort to get to....
(oh - and don't be a dick when you leave the show, the Police can read and are aware of the show OK)

See you there. The curse of the chopper electrics has struck again so will be riding the gay (comfortable!) Honda. Oh well, i'll just have to forego the pleasure of the 8hr round trip on the old hardtail....;)

It was pretty good again - who am I kidding - it was fabulous...
Too short a ride for me so I took the Sprint for a pootle afterwards... Awesome fun...

great simple event that works that's the bit I liked, had to laugh when they said there was a team of 23 organising it though!

23 on the day marshalling?
Vicki had a cold and wanted a quiet night watching chick flicks so I polished up the TR6C on sat night which is really very sad I know BUT I did listen to awful music and drink to excess so I think its still acceptable?
I wondered why I bothered.. It didn't really need it but...

Did you say you want to see some photos?
My friend Aslan got in touch and reminded me this was on so we headed out to Paraparumu to check it out. Saw crasherfromwayback while we were there and there was quite a big crowd so not easy to spot everyone we know.

Yeah great. The same photos you'd seen already of course and I'd thought by now a few others would post too. The video on the thread on ADV Rider was good though I don't think we appeared in that did we? That is this video:

Mate, I had to leave you to put your own photo up.
Seriously though I did miss it and like I said when we were there the crowd just made taking photos quite hard as someone was always standing in the way, funny that, but a success I'd say by the number that showed up.

Is that one of your fleet? Great to see the 230V outlets, you could plug anything into those - microwave, heater, TV, as well as that hair dryer lol

yip, it was originally done to power a heated jacket via 12 volts for a brass monkey in the late 80's, then i'd plug my rechargeable razor in and fascinate people, have grown a beard and don't go to the monkey any more so probably should remove it as it adds weight....
