Had three Germans and their 64 year old Beemers turn up at the Motel last night, they had just crossed from the South Island and will start with the North Island today.

Two R51/3 and one R/68.

More than likely Al, from here (Wellington) the first stop was Kapiti for a bike show.

All three blokes were probably in their mid/late 30's. Not the greatest bikes for touring I wouldn't imagine but hard to beat the coolness factor.
