Parking in Auckland city?

Hello,

I am planning to move out to the city so I can be closer to my university (AUT).
But I would like to know where I can park my bike overnight since my appartment doesn't have any parking place.
And how much will it cost per week ?

Victoria St carpark, the civic carpark and the downtown carpark has free bike parking, but invest in a chain, and a couple of disk locks

There is an abundance of motorcycle parking underneath Aotea Square in the Civic car park - however they will probably soon catch on to you leaving your bike there 24/7.

Otherwise there are a few different car parks close - one on Victoria Street.

Thank you for your quick reply. But is it ok to park my bike there overnight and can I get it out at the middle of the night if I ever need my bike or do I have to contact the parking center?

Back in the day, a mini was relocated to the top of the AKL Uni Chemistry building, can't be that hard to move a bike.

There is a place on Shortland street that can so secure overnight parking for bikes. Can't remember the details though

Where is your apartment? If you are around Skycity their carpark is open 24/7 and they seem to have a few bikes that live there. Just don't leave your littlies locked to the bike as they get into shit with CYFS and The Herald for the abandoned children.
