My wife and I went on a 19 day trip down south on our bikes.
After the Danseys pass the rear tyre in the BMW r1150 r had a puncture, but was completely buggered. A plug enabled us to continue to ride,but it needed replacing urgently.
ringing around greater north Canterbury on saturday morning didnt produce much:
BMW dealer had one, but couldnt fit it till thursday....
budget motorcycle parts had a few, but also couldnt fit on that day...
Nobody else had one...Not untill I rang Pit lane now in Glentunnel, past Darfield ,
not only did they have tyre, they could fit it on a saturday.... ( open till 3 pm)
Great tyre, good price, great service, great place..... ( shed in the country side after quakes, on quiet backroads, close enough to town)
