Ohh yeahhhhhhhhhhh............. It just had to be done, since selling the Guzzi in my profile pic and buying a new Firestorm something was missing
So.... I just had to buy me another, Guzzisti you guys know were I'm at aye :headbang:
Ok so its a Moto Guzzi V11 Nero Corsa possible the only one in OZ & NZ there are a couple of Roso Corsas but as the name sugests they are red not black.
The bike has Ohlins suspension Brembo brakes and 'real' carbon fiber, the paint ia a metlic black and dark gray in the Corsa checkered flag design.
You know as soon as I hit the starter I knew I was on a Guzzi again with that crash of metals as the big starter turns over and the sideways motion as it fired up. The big heavy clunk as it drops into 1st and the riding of the clutch to get rolling and as I started moving I forgot how the bike leans/pulls to the right..... god I love it :apumpin:
BTW....... for all you doubting Thomas 'NO' nothing fell of it on the way home (that I noticed anyway) :niceone:

It sure looks fine, if slightly bulbous, though that's surely to contain the power within. Happy ridin' guy.

Can't wait to see how 91 hp @7800 rpm and 70 ft/lbs @ 6000 rpm works on the black stuff eh :bye: :innocent: . Numbers never really seem to translate from paper the way you think.
Looks good tho. Can't substitute for quality.

Na, honest they don't wheelie all that well at all, something to do with weight and drive shaft etc...... but hey ya never know, besides SuziQ... thats why I have mates with R6 and GSXR thours  :devil2:
It'd be sleeping in his bedroom while Gwenda is out on the couch and he would have cleaned it before it left the shop
Damn right it will be in the bedroom and gwenda (the new bucket) will now be demoted to the couch, which leaves the spare room for the G/F and me
BTW no I didnt get a chance to clean it before I left the shop... cos, the 1st stop was your workshop and I knew that your fowl breath crude hair cut and discusting mouth (that is well over due for a mouthfull of soap).... and all this not to mention ya filthy hands, will be hovering over the bike I figured .... why bother. :kick:
The rest of you guys.... cheers :apumpin:

Oh I dunno... You could have bought my $%#^ing roundfin last night for a pretty reasonable price.... I was NOT in the mood for being up to my arse in grease and oil and one day.... One day I will own a motorcycle that goes to a shop for tune ups and tinkering... fecking things....

You now, D, I dunno if I could handle the resonsibility of owning such a unique and special machine. Seriously, I reckon I'd ride like a TOTAL nanna, worried about dropping it or writing off the ONLY one of it's kind in Australasia. *yeeeeeesss, I see he is getting worried now, his confidence is being erroded. He's thinking "Shit, what if I DO drop it??"- soon HE will be following ME on the Akaroa GP, MUHAHAHAhahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaa*
Well done anyway. Did you watch any TV or go on KB last night? Or did you just lie in bed stroking your.... motorcycle?

Lovely bike!! (how come I missed this thread earlier??)
Will tell my mates who are coming to Otematata to keep a look-out for you!
How much do you want for the Firestorm? Do you want to take a red/black GS1200SS as part trade? (Hamish is kind of making noises about getting another VTR, but I don't think he's too serious - he's probably waiting to see how big the Melbourne carbon fibre shopping bill is before he does anything)
