I have mentioned these guys in the past after doing their school (I know it's a bit far...) ... phenomenal. This video has some good bits of wisdom, most of those bits happen between the ears.

When watching the video - consider skipping to 1:15 when all the credits have finished then listen carefully. Some of the main points they talk about are:
- Mantra: where am I, what am I doing? Wet, Cold Tires.... destination? Any distractions?
- The van ride was a very good learning tool. Amazing how similar brake/throttle application is in 4 and 2 wheels..... yes yes.... braking into a corner (let's not get carried away discussing this topic).....
- If you make a mistake, let it go, don't let it keep distracting you.
- More for track folks: mental preparation.... riding the track in your mind. Hard to do. I am very undisciplined about doing this (I only do trackdays mind), but when I have taken the time between sessions to go through the lap in my head, I improved a lot. I find it hard to go through a whole lap without getting distracted, so I just think about 2 or 3 corners between sessions, try to get those right, then work on others.
- The braking drill was one of the best things we did.... they don't talk about it too much.... but the point is true...you need to learn how to brake hard from the fastest speed you ride at. The dudes in the video where braking like pu$$ie$ . :D
- Body position, is very important.... need to take weight off your hands.
- Don't crash your coffee! :D Think about what you are going to do before you go out and do it... ties back to the mantra.

I think this video really gives one a good idea of what the school is all about.... how it is run.

Just in case you are curious, the guys talking in the video were:
Nick Ienatsch (main talker, one 2 head instructors) Both head instructors were from the old Freddie Spencer School.
Ken Hill (other head instructor)
Scott Russell (bond dude with thick Southern American accent) WSBK Champion, GP rookie of the year >>>> a long time ago, 5 x Daytona 200 winner)
Chris Peris (short dude with dark hair) some of you folks might remember him .... since he raced down there. :D

Enjoy (I put it in here as opposed to the racing section, because these are all IMO survival skills)
