Just changed the Pirelli City Demon front tyre on the XV250 after 15,000k. It still had a complete tread pattern across the tyre, but wasn't far off the min legal depth and with winter coming on I decided that grip was probably a tad more useful than getting another 2,000k.
I had thought it might have gone a bit further than 15k being on a light cruiser and only ridden by a 'nana' on Sundays ? (and occasionally on the other 6 days). :blink:
Don't know if it is just me, but most of the new tyre's I have bought seem to have less tread than they used to come with. Maybe I am developing the "Good old days" form of Alziemiers. :facepalm::facepalm:
