Hey Everyone,
Have recently been asked by a friend to attend his stag, which will be riding motorcycles round NZ, unfortunately I don't have anything to ride and I really want to attend if possible, I have been joking that I would get a bike for a long time so now might be the time, though it will have to be on a tight budget. I would prefer to have some time to get used to the bike before attending which is why I would prefer not to hire something. I have about 6 months before the stag.
I have not ridden properly for probably 10 years but I am looking for a Sports bike which would fit into the LAMs list, My previous bike was a GSX-R 250 R 1989 which was sports tuned and I loved to bits.
Spec I would prefer
Engine Cap: 250-600cc
Bike type: Sports or Sporty Cruiser
Working condition (e.g. able to do a lap of the south island without breaking down)
Able to overtake other vehicles @ 100Kms (preferably easily)
Prefer to be in Christchurch for pick up.
All going well I would like to make this bike my work commuter on nice days.
I have given a price of 2K but I would like to keep my options open but will consider anything under 5k, I will also be looking on trademe and such.
