Is it okay for scooterd to park in the car parking lot?

I see many scooters that park at the end of line of street car parking space.
Is this legal?

I ride scooter with 150cc.
I wonfer if i can do park like this.

오클랜드는 어떨지 모르지만, 보통 사람 지나가거나 다른 차들에 민폐를 주지 않은곳에 주차를 한다면 아무도 신경 안쓸 겁니다 :yes:

Spoke to a warden about this in Auckland, he recommended parking that way so you don't have to pay for a ticket. If you take a whole car space then they may ticket you. Never had issues parking that way with a scooter or bike.

I've been told the same thing by a warden in Auckland. I've not paid for parking since I sold the car.
It got even easier when I moved out of Auckland and back to the Waikato.

Last Wednesday they had a tow truck by Britomart and were loading up 3 scooters that had down that. Now I'm guessing it wasn't because they were in the bay, but because they had exceeded the max stay and/or not displayed a ticket.

It might be legal but I don't park my scooter anywhere I can't chain the frame to something difficult to mobilize.
