A long shot and plenty cheeky but anyone here work for or own a skip bin business and might consider some sort of mates rates for a compelling sob story. (Its a genuine one for a family of a young lady who's come to stay with us due to family issues)

it's for a family of a young ladys
if you chop the arms and legs off with a chainsaw they'll take up a lot less space, it'd also be better forensically if you composted or ran them through a burley grinder....

Helpful for future reference but surprisingly close to home so I've got 5 bucks and a bag if chips if you can actually help.
...you bumped the thread though so thanks

Sorry I can't help.
Been there done that for someone else.
In my case the parties that caused the mess and couldn't even lift a finger to help then complained about everything. The quite nice place they moved to is now apparently in a WORSE state than they left the one before.
I really hope your case is must better than that, but beware.
Make sure you get a big enough bin and don't overfill it.
The place had a 9m3 bin filled and a complete house lot of furniture etc moved as well.
Had enough Big Mac toys/crap to fill a room.
Hope your case is better than that.

yes dont overfill, they charge a mint if the bin is too heavy. That ussually only happens if you are moving concrete ,bricks ,dirt etc,Te etra chage can be 100s i think

D'Auckland doesn't do "the tip" it has "transfer stations" where all of the shit is accumulated before being deposited in either Dairy Flat, Springhill or in the roadside down the way from where I live. Besides, nothing's s'posed to be cheaper than mates rates.

Only if it doesn't go through the books, no reason why a cheaper than normal rate can't be done officially though shirley

Used to be, but last time I got a 9 metre skip it was about $300. Factor in time going to tip and its a winner...obviously not if you don't have 9 CM's of shit and stuff.

Yup that's why I was cheekily asking here. We could easily fill that so... Fun times, not... Never mind. I'm unedmhamedly (spelling) here in case of a miracle

Place the shit in the skip, don't throw it in, you'll be amazed at how much actually goes in and you'll be paying good money for fresh air if you don't.
I got one delivered late one Friday (around 8pm) for a week. They turned up the next Friday at 8am to pick it up, I told them 'na don't think so buddy, it's mine until 8pm tonight...I have paid for seven days not six. So watch that also.

So were you still filling it on the seventh day or did you just sit there all day looking at it, rubbing your hands together?

Can't you just give her a mattress on the lounge floor? A skip bin seems a bit harsh even if she is down on her luck.

D'Auckland doesn't do "the tip".
I disagree.
Devonport.
Just loosen your tailboard as you enter the shithole and allow your junk to fall off of the trailer.
It will only improve the look of the place.

Yeah, nah, just got a valuation on my house.:gob:
While it has gone up, all the other ones have too:pinch:
Maybe should move to Te Awamutu:drinkup: plenty of good roads there abouts.
plenty of housing being built about the place, just not a lot of transport infrastructure, back to conjested roads after the schoole holidays
Maha's right, pack the bin. Have heard of them being dumped on the front lawn when over full.
Make sure they can get to it easily - talk to the driver.
Unfortunately it's all $, see what you can recycle, trade me, give away, hospice

I was still filling it, I was very fair about it, I said ''Give me until midday then you can have it''.
