Grand Prix Machine F4 racing training day – Saturday 30 April
This Saturday I will be taking a F4 racing training day at Mt Wellington for anyone interested. Whilst you still need to pay your few peanuts to ride on the day, this will be totally 100% FREE of charge! These sessions are designed for riders fairly new to racing to learn some new go fast techniques. This means riders who are confidently riding in B-grade or have recently moved into A-grade.
I’d like a small group for the first day so please message me to book a spot. If there is capacity on the day I’ll happily include more riders. You’re also more than free to only attend specific sessions if you want to do some normal practice laps. Saturday practice days are run in sessions based on lap times. We’ll run some separate sessions so we can focus on practicing some skills without worrying about lap times and other riders trying to put in hot laps. Track gates open at 9:00am, I hope to kick off with a track walk before the sessions start so try to be there before 9:30am if you can.
The sessions will be purposely high level and cover a range of topics including:
1) Bike preparation and rider comfort
2) Riding strategy
3) Racing lines, markers and throttle control
4) Improvement techniques
5) Lead and follow laps with pointers
6) Anything else you’re interested to learn
Message me here or on 027 533 7429 to book a spot. See you all out there, keep it pinned, in no time you'll be shredding like these hoons: https://www.flickr.com/…/236948…/in/album-72157659734847064/
