Loads of discussion on big adventure bikes at the mo, red hot.

KTM is undaunted.

Yeah, the only thing he is missing is a cape.

IMHO that is his best vid to date on the big KTM. Riding with shovels and bush saws indeed! I'm hugely impressed that the behemoth did not boil over or start shedding bits everywhere.

I noticed that the lines he took were always the lesser of two weevils. :pinch:

Great stuff:niceone:

I like at the beginning he tells the guys that "we" are riding it. Its definitely a team effort when taking whales into that sort of stuff, and if you have the time and the manpower its amazing what can be achieved.

I have ridden in there ( `neavesville ` or `the wires track`) quite a few times on a 450 dirt bike and I always wished that I was on something smaller and lighter.

To take something that size in there - LEGEND

Bit mind boggling that, I would struggle on me little 200 2 smoke.

Epic indeed.

John Nic and I went there in 2010 on trials bikes, and we still needed a rope then.

In fairness to Chris, he did break an indicator...

Im kinda glad about that, most of it looked more than I would tackle.

There was a time Birchy could prove a point on the race track.
I'd rather see him winning races or even competing(national enduro series).

didn't he win the moonshine extreme enduro this year?

Imagine the roost if riding behind him!

What a great use for the crash bars - somewhere to attach the ropes to :-)

Holy shite, that's big skills and big energy stuff. I have ridden in there way back. Always hard.
One time(long ago) in there with John Nic and Shaun Stanbridge, we were exploring a side track John knew of and I derailed a chain busting the gearbox on my KTM and Shaun towed me out.
Mildly terrifying :sweatdrop being towed through there.
