hey guys newbie here from the good old mount maunagnui

i like long walks on the beach, beer, beer, carft beer and then some more beer

picked up my first bike as of last night! alittle gn250 which I plan on doing a Brat Bobber style too. (will see how that goes)

was into cars but with a bit of looking around figured id stop modding cars and move to bikes as they are alot cheaper and a hell of alot of fun

thanks people any advice on where to get seats and items needed for bobber project let me know please!

you'll be able to buy exhaust wrap from ripco i think, that, some bar end mirrors, a side mounted number plate and a iron maiden bandana around your neck will see you as one of the most feared mutha fuckers outside of opotiki, oh, and an iron cross decal or two.

Yep going too get laughed at hated on all thay crap but meh dosnt faze me at all. I was hoping people into bikes will be more freindlyer than the car seen but we will see haha.

Already sussed what bars ill be using and seat. And no need to be looking like a badass when my patch says pumkin patch!

Welcome fella,whatever the project its simply far easier n cheaper to type what you want on Ebay,many on here view fucking about with anything old/small/big blah blah blah as witchcraft,fill ya boots and enjoy whatever you end up building.

No probs, make use of the beer and soak up the road close then practise those badass moves before the BHS test. Plan on using CBTA to get your arse on your next bike sooner.:drinknsin

Got more of my own stuff done today than I have all week, even finished off some jobs months old.

doing same tomorrow. It's good when your on a roll no one else to interfere and the ride last Thursday did wonders....

Just set the preload as soft as it will go (that'll get the tyre flush with the guard). As for stance, lean the bike over, this helps lower the bike and adds camber.
