Hey my name is Grant Im from South Waikato currently in the final stages of a rat rod sport bike. Manufacturers list is Aprillia Ducati Suzuki Honda Yamaha, Triumph, Harley, Buell, Confederate and Ambassador and god knows how many models. 99% of the bike was made from parts recovered from wrecks (nearly all parts brought legit from a wrecker Imperial Sportbikes in Colorado!!) but Im having the engine rebuilt, 2000 Buell 1427cc 660 cams XRX flywheel and rods (1.5 pin) STD raised port heads, lots of HiPo stuff. Bit of fun and a good excuse to hit the man cave every night!
Looking forard to meeting a few new peeps and learn some stuff Ive got lots of questions...
Glad to be here!

Hi Grant and welcome!

Take no notice of the resident muppet - you can put him on IGNORE like most people do - great response . I lived in Tokoroa from '75-'08 and still have a lot of friends there and out at the mill. Great roads in the Waikato. All the best with your project and you'll find some great people with a wealth of knowledge on here.

Cheers,

Geoff

When you reply to a post scroll down and you'll see a section called 'Additional Options', in there you'll find an 'Attachments' option. Upload your photos here.

Is it a copy and paste/upload from your computer, or from a file sharing site like photobucket?

Hi and welcome,

You can post photos both ways - either upload and they appear as a small clickable photo when you are signed in or you can link to another site and the photo appears all the time. For the link to another site there's an icon when you go to post or reply: second row, fourth box, first icon on left = looks like a globe with a link chain. Click on that and you get a dialogue box in which you paste the link.

I'm sure if I have missed something, someone who is more knowledgeable will be along soon to put us all right.

Cheers

Oops! That's the icon for linking to another site such as "Have a look at this..." type of thing...

For photos it is the same box but the icon on the right "Insert Image"...

Homer Simpson moment...

For attachments, its both, from PC or a website. You can also share directly from internet into your post (called embedding). I've fixed your first post.

Welcome :niceone:
