Once again people complaining about things that don't really matter.

Strange to read that this wasn't in some way shape or form Mr Key's fault, according to Labour.

Gotta admit, after reading the title I was hoping the pacific character was Gypsy Danger, in: Finding Nemo 2, Finder's Kippers.

*don't even know if finding nemo is disney, don't even care.

3 Big Ben pies, a bag of chips and a 2l of coke from the tuck shop every day for lunch was the culprit...

Guess the truth hurts, come here and live on crap food. When it goes wrong then clog the hospital system up and expect to be able to eat KFC in hospital while in the renal ward because their kidneys are fucked or on a ortho ward getting new joints.

Thanks to the OP, this made me LOL.

The biggest, strongest race of people on the face of the planet - built for power, not endurance. Jonah and Inga the winga couldn't pass the standard fitness tests.
They got to be that way on a traditional diet which is extremely low in fat.
Then along comes the European with pork, (really high fat) corned beef, KFC etc etc.
With a metabolic system that is designed to extract every available calorie, they are pretty much screwed.

Joseph Parker's so called preference with BK is a joke, it is sponsorship and that's where it stops.....same with the Warriors and Wendy's, actually those adds make the players look bigger twats than they are on the field.

Or how Europeans are intellectual dominant due to 'fast twitch' grey matter.
Does your example include South Africans?

'race ' is just another useless word like 'gender '

'Human breed' would be much better.

Is the supposed European intellectual Dominance a pure factor of race or are there some significant cultural factors? China was at one point the pinnacle of Intellectual thought, as was Iran/Persia/Arabian states - which tends to suggest it's more environmental than Genetic.

Yep.....Heard somewhere that ethnic groups that come from areas that before had little or no fruit also suffered when the euros rocked up with new food groups.Seems the thingies (Tech term here lol) inside us that helps process fruitrose is not developed as much in these groups so more sugar in the diet hello Boombooms time.
This same thingie that process sugar also helps process alcohol of course.

Told once about this is how the Aboriginal people get pissed so fast on so little and its hello AA meetings. Not a lot of fruit trees in the outback.
If a Euro guy hits the booze alcoholic styles over time it takes more and more for him to get pissed up.For the Abos when they stop and start again its like having grog for the first time every time and six beers see you wangered.(Yes please).

Sure tinned meat flour bread pasta ect didn't help in poly land but its funny how people think the islands they also think fruit in abundance.
Not on any Bear grills/survivor show I seen or island holiday I had.
Ate fruit in Raro last time you were there?.Chances are it got there by boat or plane from NZ.

Short of fitting a muzzle to people to stop them shoveling fat or sugar laden food into their gob or duct taping them to a treadmill informing them is the best you can do.Why do you think now that a pack of smokes is like $80 and a doz beer $25 that the govt is now making noise about a sugar tax.
Next biggest earner... its got almost fuck all to do with health.....Ever heard of the Aussie Sin Tax?...Brace yourself as the Nats do like to get their ideas from over the ditch.

$2 for a 2.25lt coke or $3.50 for a 2lt milk...Shit like this does not help.;)

Evidently the worst country for Diabetes on a Global scale is ... Tokelau, in the Pacific and north of Fiji.

Get yourself down to a South Auckland KFC or M'c D's at feeding time then tell me how many honkies you see forcing the locals to buy and eat super sized plates of fried goodness.

That is an excellent point. The amount of cash paid for enough KFC to feed the entire tribe once could be spent at the super market or local outdoor market for probably 3 nights meals. Unfortunately it is a hell of a lot easier to go through the drive thru than to actually prepare a proper meal. The word lazy comes to mind.

Hmmm I thought the character looked pretty cool.

If that MP stops to think about it for Maui to do all the things the folklore claims he would need to be super strong.

So if she looked to strength sports (not endurance) she would find that they tend to deliberately carry additional fat to assist in lifting. She is thinking he should have a bodybuilder shape like Arnie - those guys pack on weight in their non-stage off-season to allow them to lift heavier weights to gain muscle.

Stupid politician not doing her research. She may need to commission a $200,000 study or something.

Here's some dudes from a strongman contest (they pull islands out of the ocean). Oh shit they look just like that dude in the movie.....

That is a very good photo to illustrate ya point. The midget in the middle is Jay Cuttler. He is a Mr Olympia kind of dude.

Quite often competition Olympic lifters (not that xfit shit!) look like chubba wubbas but actually have little body fat.

Sounds like an issue for the Samoan politicians in Samoa to deal with.

I'll broaden that to include Maori and Pacific people - the sort of people who voted in MP Jenny Salesa to represent them. Criticising a Disney movie is low on her constituents list of concerns.

But you make a good point, but I think it was unintended - pacific leaders in the islands seem unconcerned about this movie.

Hahaha - god that link. They are offended at friggen everything.

Here is something I was offended at. Couple years back my sons school had a welcome to new students evening opened by the head and a couple of maori chaps to PC the opening and welcome. They were bloody good with their intros and general involvement and I enjoyed it. HOWEVER, what I found offensive was they both looked like they had mugged some homeless drunk from a seedy alley of his clothing to come to the evening in. one's jacket was hello 1980 and looked like it had spent the 90's in a dumpster before being revived as street-wear.

Disgusting and very disrespectful.

I don't give a frigg what race your prescribe to but if you are invited to represent that race have some fucking pride in it and yourself.
